Your Exit Strategy

1. In the next five years I intend to keep expanding my business. If this means selling this business to a buyer which has the same agenda I do, that's the option I will go with. My goal is to expand this business enough to where it can help many different types of people, not just one targeted group. I believe the business should go to someone who is just as passionate, if not more, about stopping tobacco and drug use.

2. I have selected this exit strategy, because I think it would be what's best for the people who need the service. If another business professional can bring more value than I can, I believe it's what's ethically correct for the community.

3.) I think my exit strategy has influenced other decisions I've made in my concept, because it's not about the profit. The opportunity is helping people that may not have the resources and support they need. It has influenced my growth intentions, because I realized there are more people that need the help.

  1. Hi Jessica,
Good idea for an exit strategy. It's hard to think of this for our fake opportunity idea, putting so much time in to creating it and now to think about dissolving. I think finding a buyer with the same agenda and goals is an excellent idea for the business. You have a non-profit that needs someone passionate to continue its legacy.

  2. Hi Jessica,
That's awesome that you're more focused on making an impact than making a buck. I am the same way. Although making money is really important so obviously you want to play it right so you can set your family up well. I also relate as I eventually want my business to expand from helping one group of people to an entire industry and not just keep it so small. Great job on this post.
